Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has some of the best scenery in Europe and has to be seen to be believed. In particular the coastline is of outstanding natural beauty where breathtaking and rugged coastline merge into the romantic landscape of deep silent glens and lush forest parks.
Antrim portfolio County Antrim offers a breathtaking coastline of ancient castles and deep silent glens and lush forest parks. No visit is complete without exploring the famous Giants Causeway and the famous rope bridge. Down portfolio This region would have to be my second favorite of the six countys of Northern Ireland. Personal favorites would be the Mourne Mountains, Strangford Lough, and the many ancient sites scattered along the Ards Peninsula and surrounding area.
Armagh portfolio County Armagh's boundary with Co Louth is marked by the rugged Ring of Gullion. Its also adjoined to the south shore of Lough Neagh. Ancient Armagh was the territory of the Ulaid and the ancient sites are what interest me most in this region. Derry portfolio County London/Derry is situated in the north of the island and is adjoined to the north-west shore of Lough Neagh. The only region I have really visited is the Mussenden Temple with its spectacular views over the Atlantic but I will try to explore this year.
Tyrone portfolio Tyrone is the largest county in Northern Ireland. The flat peatlands of East Tyrone borders the shoreline of Lough Neagh, rising gradually across to the more mountainous terrain of the Sperrin Mountains. Fermanagh portfolio Fermanagh is situated mostly in the basin of the River Erne, and it is often referred to as Ireland's Lake District. Although I visited many years ago and recently to the Boa island figures I will return when I do alittle more research.
