Gems of Ardnamurchan - Scotland

Ardnamurchan and it's famous lighthouse marks the most westerly point on mainland Britain. I found this lighthouse quite tiring to reach having traveled down an never ending road and then getting lost somewhere at the end I eventually found it..

I knew I was not going to get the light I wanted at this lighthouse and with heavy skies threatening to rain I had to find my compositions. I made the most of what drama there was and in this composition in a chasm a little colour was revealed every time the surf receded leaving this beautiful emerald pool with these large boulders.
