Glendalough

Glendalough - Co. Wicklow

Wicklow is widely known as the “Garden of Ireland” with hidden lakes and luscious waterfalls. One of the most beautiful locations and one of my personal favorites is Glendalough.

The most famous of all the landmarks in the area, however, is the "Round Tower" which stands 110 feet above the ground. Here I included it in my compostion from the nearby stream rather than the graveyard or early Christian settlement area.
