Minnowburn Beeches: A magical area owned and managed by The National Trust. Minnowburn provides endless inspiration for painters and photographers. Captured on a cold December morning minus 12 as I stepped out of my car. Have never seen this scene look so beautiful in this winter setting. Here the trees are illuminated by the rising sun adding a nice warmth and colour contrast.
